Movies with themes from the far future, or even the quite near future, fall often under the category "science fiction". On this page we will describe briefly some movies relating to the (far) future, to space travelling, to fatal distasters strucking the Earth, and to other topics related to this website. We will start with two movies covering a meteoroid threatening to devaste the Earth.

Story: A meteoroid (asteoroid) is heading toward the Earth, and threatening to wipe out most of the life on our planet. To do the necessary dangerous job, a colourful group of oilwell drillers is picked out, and sent to the surface of the meteoroid.
